I'm home
So... what now? There will be a ridiculous amount of recording happening in November, I already have to play drums on two songs for the Threads on my first morning back. There's also a planned 5-song recording with Tom Bernard, and I have quite a few songs up my sleeve that need to get on tape as well.
I think. It's a little hard to tell what's going on right now. It took me A WHILE to realize I was in my own bedroom this morning. Is that normal? I still don't recognize the ceiling fan. I guess that's nothing that a steady diet of Mexican food won't cure.

Show number ??
I haven't been keeping you very up to date, sorry. We've been playing shows with a man named Olli Schulz. He is amazing.
The shows are big, the hotels are nice, and we get tons of good food and beer every night. Not bad.
I would write more but it totally sucks typing on my cell phone. I'll try to get some more pictures up soon as well.

Christ Almighty
My grasp on reality is almost nonexistant. I think that I just played a kareoke show to about 400 Germans, but I'm not sure because I haven't slept in quite a while. 35 hours?
Huh? Did you say something? Sorry, I don't understand Spanish.
Drinking seems to be helping. Six more beers and should be able to speak German.
Germany
We have just flown into the Dusseldorf Weese airport, only to find that our rental van was booked at the other Dusseldorf airport, so now we're on a bus to the train station so we can take the train to our car. If we could stick a boat ride in here somewhere we it would be perfect.
Sorry I've been slacking on the posts. I'll write some more recaps of the UK shows soon.
I slept for exactly zero hours last night. Time for a nap on the bus.

Show 6 and a new show in Mesa
The show was actually pretty good. There were a couple hundred bodies there to watch us play, and no DJ's playing music ten times louder than the bands in bewteen sets.
Reubens Acommplice is playing a pretty cool show on November 19 at Mesa Amphatheatre, with Spoon, Black Heart Procession, and a bunch of other bands. Go to this link to see the flyer www.statesidepresents.com

Show four and five
Show 4 in Luton took place in the basement of the student union of the university. This show shared many similar characteristics to the previous night's, lots of people waiting around for the bands to finish so they can hear the DJ.
A few people actually came to see us specifically, some of which drove quite a long way to do so. Thanks!
Number 5 was in Torquay, a pleasant retirement and holiday getaway on the west coast. Not much to tell on this one. Low turnout but fun, minimal goth presence.
We're in Cardiff tonight, the capital of Wales. The band we're touring with is from this area, and all are expecting a good show. There's already a discussion about which party to go to after, that's always a good sign.

Show 3
Last night we played in Weston Supermare at a place called Hobbits. The place was chalk full of goths, the same kind we have in the US. Some of them actually liked us, but it was a fleeting romance. Once the dance music started we were quickly forgotten.
We drove to Caerphilly in South Wales to sleep, it was much nicer than last night. We're off to Luton now.
I've been taking lots pictures, if I can find an internet connection I'll put them somewhere for you to see.
Post some bleeding comments!

Show 2
We played in southhampton tonight at a place called Joiners. The place was small but nice, I think we sounded pretty good. Many famous UK bands have there... Lots of entertaining grafitti.
I'm currently in an abandoned flat in which I will soon be sleeping on the floor covered only by a curtain that I ripped down off the window. There are 10 other men who will be joining me in this procedure. Luxury.
I having almost as much trouble finishing this beer as I am writing this post on my cell phone.
Tommorow we are going to see Stonehenge, and hopefully also Woodhenge, which is supposed to be way better.

show #1 in Kingston
We touring in a minivan. We're not allowed to drive it so we have a driver the whole time. Should be interesting.
Today is a day off. We are suppose to explore London. Hmmmmm...
I'm pretty tired and I believe my post writing skills are suffering as a result. Sorry. I'll try to write more later when I'm more awake.
